ALL - Activision Named Top Publisher For October 2007
Although it was released nearly at the close of the month of October, Guitar Hero III still managed to snag the top spot in the charts. This led to Activision being named as the leading publisher for the month of October, this according to a data provided for by the NPD group.
And while Halo 3 topped the NPD charts, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock (Xbox 360, PS3, Wii, PC) dominated, having been released in three of the five consoles, thus claiming the 4th spot.
It also helped jump Activision's market share to 28.7, helping the company have a solid October sales despite low performance of its other titles.
