ALL - Alone In The Dark Goes Gold For Most; PS3 Version Held Back
Atari has recently confirmed that their PS2, Xbox 360, Wii, and PC versions of the action-adventure game Alone in the Dark has gone gold. With that being said, you can know expect the said platform versions of the title to launch on the 20th of June in Europe and on the 24th in North America.
For the PS3 owners wondering whether they'd be able to get their eager hands on the console's version of Alone in the Dark, there was no specific dates given by Atari just yet following reports of a few frame-rate issues. As revealed in Atari's recent press release, you can expect the PS3 version of the game to be released around autumn of this year, which isn't very long actually considering that it will still able to make it in the market for this year.
For those who aren't familiar or haven't played Alone in the Dark before, this game is set in Central Park and is said to be modeled after the episodic format of most television shows. The game also offers its gamers with a “DVD-style” chapter select menu that enables players to skip certain parts in the game.
