ALL - Amazon Blows Lid On Star Wars Battlefront III
We might be hearing an announcement from LucasArts regarding a new game from the Star Wars Battlefront series. Apparently, Amazon.com has listed Star Wars Battlefront III on their website and it is said to be available on six various platforms. In fact, pre-orders can now be made for the game on the site with a March 15, 2009 supposed release date.
It isn't quite a surprise should the devs release another game of the Battlefront series knowing that it has been the best selling video game franchise for Star Wars. Another reason for the spurt of this rumors was when LucasArts lay low a bit and were tight-lipped about any other upcoming titles.
Among those listed platforms to which Battlefront III is supposed to be release in (according to Amazon.com) are PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii, DS, and 360. If this information is in fact true, then this certainly trashes previous rumors that claims this game will be an Xbox 360 exclusive. However, with a slow down on LucasArts internal development, you better count on Rebellion, a UK-based studio to create a hit game just like they did with Star Wars Battlefront: Renegade Squadron for the Sony's handheld.
