ALL - Assassin's Creed Tops UK Rental Charts
Following its success in the UK charts, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed (PS3, Xbox 360, PC) is shaping up top the game rentals and sales charts as well. A major DVD rental service in the UK called LOVEFiLM has in fact foreseen a good holiday season performance for the said title.
Chris Bird, LOVEFiLM's Head Marketing Services, said that “Assassin's Creed will definitely be up there; our audience have already heavily pre-ordered this and the sure scale of the experience is very cinematic, so will prove popular amongst film fans.”
Some other titles that were also cited to be potential holiday bestsellers include Eidos Interactive's Kane and Lynch (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PS3, Xbox 360, PC), EA's FIFA 08 (PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, DS, PSP, Wii) and Konami's PES 2008 (PS3, PS2, PC, Xbox 360). All of these games, except for Kane and Lynch have made it into the top ten in the recent UK charts.
