As has been the tradition of 2K Sports, they are once again returning with the digital likeness of baseball all-stars in this year's installment of the Major League Baseball franchise.
In their latest offering, the MLB 2K series is looking to give more control to the players. Aside from that, 2K has overhauled several of its core gameplay mechanics, which includes the implementation of new pitching interface and base running controls.
Not only that, an update was made with regards to the game's batting controls to create a more realistic hitting situation. Players will now get the chance to make it big in the minors, while also being able to assume the role of one of 90 minor-league clubs in franchise and exhibition modes. 2K Games really took the time to develop a game that will mimic true-to-life motions and realistic gaming situations, and now gamers will have it all on their control.
Now that it has been confirmed, you can expect MLB 2K8 (PS2, PS3, PSP, Xbox 360, Wii) to hit shelves on March 4.
