ALL - Chart Track UK Top 40 Games (week ending March 1/ 08)
If you could recall, Sega has previously claimed that they expect "Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games" to sell over four million copies. What's more, they also expect the game to rival with Halo 3. With Mario & Sonic's recent showing in the sales charts, it looks like they will prove all these declarations right.
The said title has been on top spot in the UK since its December release. Although a few major releases such as Assassin's Creed, Devil May Cry 4, and Burnout Paradise has knocked it off the top, it somehow managed to climb back to first place and has stayed there for two weeks now.
What's even more impressive is that some of the games that has bumped it out of top spot have slowly lost their luster. For instance, DMC4 is on the 15th spot, Burnout Paradise is on the 20th spot, while Assassin's Creed is way down at the 28th place.
