ALL - Dragon Ball Z Tops Japanese Game Sales

Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit entered the gaming scene just last week and the PS3 version of the game was already able to burst into the top spot of the Media Create charts spanning the June 2 to 8, 2008 period. This is a great relief for the PlayStation 3 because it has been a while since a PS3 title claimed top spot in the said charts. A more interesting note though is that the Xbox 360 version of the same title placed only 12th on the same charts.
Meanwhile, Ninja Gaiden 2 already debuted which enabled some Xbox 360 presence into the charts, which has been recently dominated by Nintendo. Speaking of Nintendo, a Wii title – Shiren the Wanderer 3 – secured the number 2 spot.

Holding strong in the charts are Mario Kart Wii and Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G, which are still strong competitors for the top.

When it comes to hardware sales however, the PSP is still dominant as ever. There was not much action in the hardware charts this past week. So, if you want to take a peek into the hardware and software charts, check them out below:
