ALL - Eidos Trademarks New Tomb Raider Title
According to Trademork, in a report issued earlier in the month of November, Eidos have filed an application for a trademark on the phrase “TombRaider Underworld” to the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
The supposed trademark would cover games that are either on discs or is digitally distributed. The most recent game released from the series (Tomb Raider Anniversary) was available on various platforms as a retail product. Also, for the Xbox 360 version, it was even available as an add-on downloadable content for Tomb Raider: Legend.
In line with this, Eidos has recently confirmed that a new Tomb Raider game is already in the works although there's not much details that have been released regarding the game just yet. Also, reps from Eidos has not been available for any comment.
