ALL - GDC 08 Sony Game Showcase
Sony made a few announcements in the recent 2008 Game Developers Conference, and some of them was the Phyre Engine, as well as a detailed report of the PlayStation Network. In their booth during the said event, they also showcased a few of their popular and anticipated games.
Among the highlights in their booth was the upcoming Echochrome for the PlayStation Network. With the game's five laws of perspective, and a new trailer on the way, it will surely be a mind-bender as soon as it comes out.
Echochrome will have multiple solutions for its puzzles, but we tell you, it's not going to be real easy. In fact, it will test your patience and ability, knowing that there are multiple solutions out there just waiting to be unearthed. Sony featured a fast-paced, 10-minute demo for the said game during the GDC.
They also featured two more anticipated games for the PSP: Patapon and God of War: Chains of Olympus. There were no new details revealed, however, with regards to these two games, but Ripten boasts off that God of War: Chains of Olympus is indeed a very satisfying game despite some limitations when it comes to the controls.
That's all there is to it for the lowdown on Sony's booth during the event. Sadly though, we did not get much details but we are sure pleased to know that the games we all have been anticipating for is heading our way. Check back for more updates!
