ALL - Guitar Hero Action Figures On The Way
When Guitar Hero was first released to the market about three years ago, it was able to prove that there was indeed a market for a game of this genre. With Guitar Hero's massive popularity within the gaming community, McFarlane Toys, eyeing this as a lucrative business opportunity, has decided to create tiny plastic rock stars to produce a line of Guitar Hero action figures.
The first batch of toys to be released are based on the axe men of the Guitar Hero universe, which includes punk Johnny Napalm, Lars Umlaut, Axel Steel, and God of Rock. Standing about six inches tall, they will have about 15 to 18 moving parts, a Guitar Hero logo base, and of course, a custom guitar.
Although known for its Spawn series of figures, McFarlane Toys is not entirely new to the world of rock. They have produced a line of KISS figures, as well as Hall of Famers such as The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Jimi Hendrix, Jerry Garcia, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Motley Crue, and Bon Jovi.
The Guitar Hero action figures won't be available until November, which is about the same time as the release of Guitar Hero World Tour.
