ALL - Halo 3 Loses Top Spot To The Orange Box
On its first week of release, The Orange Box (which includes Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode 1 and Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal) succeeded in ousting the widely successful game Halo 3, by Bungie Studio, and took the top spot in the US sales charts after only a week in the market.
The Xbox 360 version of The Orange Box sold 348,049 units on its opening week, while Halo 3 managed to sell 285,860 to hang on to the second spot on its third week. Coming at the number 3 spot is Nintendo DS' The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Meanwhile, Final Fantasy Tactics: The Lion War for the PSP and Wii Sports for the Nintendo Wii is in the 4th and 5th spot, respectively.
Halo 3, which sold heavily during its first few weeks of release, eventually lost the top spot and the same could be said with the Xbox Live where the game continues to dominate over previous champ, Gears of War.
