ALL - Jimi Hendrix Classics Coming To Guitar Hero: World Tour

Despite Guitar Hero franchise's tremendous success in the gaming market, the game seemed to lack something. Well, fans should be delighted as the guitar god himself arrives to Guitar Hero World Tour, and its none other than the man known to be the greatest to ever play the instrument – Jimi Hendrix.

If you've long thought that Hendrix should be perfect for Guitar Hero, then it should be all over as Activision and Red Octane has finally confirmed that fans can now play Jimi's tracks on their Guitar Hero set.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Janie Hendrix revealed that “Guitar Hero really was on the ball and they were biting at the bit to get this out this year, so, we just accommodated them.”

Among the confirmed Jimi Hendrix tracks for the Guitar Hero World Tour (PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, Wii) are Purple Haze, Foxy Lady, and Little Wing. There is no complete list of the tracks that will officially appear in the game presently so stay tuned here for more updates!
