ALL - More Guitar Hero 3 Songs Announced

After Rock Band developers announced Grateful Dead as their new addition to their list of tracks last month, Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock raises the level of competition a notch higher. Guitar Hero III publisher Activision will be releasing some more new tunes to the band game.

These 7 new additions, along with the 10 re-recorded songs, are from some of the best rock bands there is. The 7 new songs on the list include such impressive names like Aerosmith, Cream, Santana, and The Killers. If you want to take a peek at the newly added line-up of songs so far, check the list below:

Original Songs:
"Same Old Song and Dance" by Aerosmith
"Helicopter" by Bloc Party
"Stricken" by Disturbed
"Monsters" by Matchbook Romance
"Before I Forget" by Slipknot
"Kool Thing" by Sonic Youth
"When You Were Young" by the Killers

Re-recorded Songs:
"Devil Went Down to Georgia" as made famous by Charlie Daniels Band
"Sunshine of Your Love" as made famous by Cream
"Holiday in Cambodia" as made famous by Dead Kennedys
"Cliffs of Dover" as made famous by Eric Johnson
"Hit Me with Your Best Shot" as made famous by Pat Benatar
"Black Magic Woman" as made famous by Santana
"Story of My Life" as made famous by Social Distortion
"Pride and Joy" as made famous by Stevie Ray Vaughn
"The Seeker" as made famous by The Who
"Black Sunshine" as made famous by White Zombie

These newly added tracks has brought the track list to a total of 66 so far, and as of now there is no hint yet whether there will be some more additions before its official release. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock garnered a Teen rating from the ESRB, and will be out in North America on the 28th of this month.
