ALL - Need For Speed ProStreet Will Dominate Christmas: EA
Although the latest release from the EA's Need for Speed franchise has turned stylistically away from the tradition of the game series, the company has faith that Need for Speed: ProStreet will still create the same impact to the gaming industry as it did in the past. EA goes as far as predicting that NFS: ProStreet would top the gaming charts this coming holiday season.
Steve Farrell, Senior Product Manager at EA, reveals that “A Need for Speed game has been Christmas number one for four of the last five years, with FIFA only pipping it to the post last year in a debatable count back.”
To make sure that NFS: ProStreet takes the top position during the Christmas season, EA will be investing in a massive PR campaign to support the title's launch. Farrell further adds, “We are confident the increased quality of the game this year as well as our extensive marketing campaign, with support through the run-up to Christmas will help to re-establish a Need For Speed game at number one.”
EA's Need for Speed: ProStreet will be released worldwide this November on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii, PC, PSP and the DS.
