ALL - PS3, PSP Sales Improved
Sony has got some good news relating to its PS3 and PSP platforms. The former saw a better performance in the market as compared to last year's figures, while the PSP is doing good, to say the least.
For the first quarter of 2008, the PS3 managed to sell a total of 1.56 million units, a figure almost double the 700,000 console sales from last year's Q1.
Meanwhile, Sony failed to give details though about the software sales for the PS3 but it was estimated at around 23 million software sales in total last year.
Moving over the Sony's handheld console, it managed to rack up an impressive 3.72 million units for this year's first quarter. Meanwhile, the PS2 remains strong despite several years in the market, even managing to sell 1.51 million units.
