ALL - Real Drummers Put Guitar Hero: World Tour Drums Through Paces
Guitar Hero World Tour is hoping to extend every gamers' rock star fantasies by not just focusing on the traditional guitar simulation setup and including a new instrument to make it a more holistic musical experience. When talking about the new drum peripherals, the developers of the game has decided to let a few of the industry's greatest drummers test it out.
Activision and Neversoft tapped Red Hot Chili Peppers' drummer, Chad Smith, and a few other notable drummers to try the new instrument out for themselves. Meanwhile, The Police's Steward Copeland gave some interesting feedback as to how the reduced design of the drum peripherals enabled it to be played more conveniently than the real thing.
Also, Travis Barker of the pop punk band 44, lent his hand in the development of the motion capture animations for the game. This latest Guitar Hero title is looking to be ready for the gamers that are excited to play it on their virtual stage.
So, to those of you who are raring to get the game, you have to wait until this Fall for it to come out. Guitar Hero World Tour will be out on the PS2, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
