ALL - Rockstar "Spazzed Out" About Simpsons Game
With its parodies on many popular culture and video game references, The Simpsons Game has once again snatched a victim with big time publisher Rockstar games.
Matt Selman, Executive Producer of The Simpsons Game has expressed dismay over the attitude being displayed by Rockstar towards their game. The controversy rooted from a pulled out parody on Grand Theft Auto at the Electronic Arts website for The Simpsons Game.
Apparently, folks at Rockstar pressured the publishers at EA to cease using the GTA Scratchy Advertisement for The Simpsons game. This led EA to change the name of the game's trailer vidoe to “Mob Rule”.
Despite this, Selman still recognizes Rockstar's ability to produce top-notch games. He even said, “Trust me, I'll be the first person in line to play Grand Theft Auto 4...when it comes out.”
Look out for The Simpsons Game to come out on the Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3, PSP, Nintendo Wii and DS on October 30.
