ALL - Sony, Capcom Making CGI Resident Evil Movie
Capcom looks to be taking a page out o the SquareEnix playbook. It has been announced today they and Sony Pictures Entertainment are working together to make a CGI movie based on the Resident Evil games entitled Biohazard: Degeneration.
As most already know, Capcom began the survival horror genre of games with the original Biohazard/ Resident Evil back in 1996 on the original PlayStation. The series has since spawned several sequels as well as three live action movies.
Nothing has been said as of yet as to what characters will be in the film or any plot details. All we really know right now is the movie is in production now and is slated for release sometime in 2008.
