ALL - Sony Electronics Division Vibrant But PlayStation Division Suffers Losses
Sony Corporation has just released a statement that the company's electronics division is doing very well, with its operating margin in sight and most probably will be topped come March 2008.
However, the games division does not seem to be experiencing the same kind of fate as the Playstation brand is prospected to suffer losses as brought about by poor sales.
Furthermore, a Sony spokeswoman has detailed that their operating loss was estimated at around US $432 million. Meanwhile, the loss for the Playstation brand, particularly for the PS3, has reached US $876 million.
However, she said that this loss will be made up for by the strong sales on the electronics division, particularly with their LCD TVs.
