ALL - Sony Will Not Allow AO- Rated Manhunt 2
When the word was passed down from the ESRB that Rockstar´s manhunt 2 was to get an AO (Adults Only) rating they eventually responded by saying they were going to look into their options., One of those options, leaving things as is and publishing with the rating, is now gone.
Both Sony and Nintendo have a policy in place that forbids third-party AO titles to be published. While the game was not slated to appear on the XBox 360, Microsoft has the same policy in place as well.
With this in mind, Rockstar´s only two options seem to be either appeal the decision or edit the game and re-apply for a lesser rating. Either one would possibly delay the scheduled release on July 10.
