ALL - Top Ten UK Game Sales (As of Jan. 12/ 08)

Although it faced some serious competition in the UK last week from Nintendo's More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima, Infinity Ward's latest shooter managed to snag back the top spot in the charts. For the second week of January, Activision's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare climbed back to the top, beating two Brain Training titles from Nintendo, ending up as the highest selling game in the week ending January 12.

As for the all-platforms titles, EA Sports' FIFA 08 gave away the throne to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. Meanwhile, Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed rose to third spot, as EA's The Simpsons Game loses its steam and ends up on the fourth spot. Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, however, manages to jump three spots to secure the fifth place, just above the only non-mover for this week, Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer 2008.

At number seven is EA Black Box's Need for Speed: ProStreet which manages to stay on top of this week's biggest jumper, Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training. And dropping to number nine is More Brain Training from Dr. Kawashima, as SEGA's The Golden Compass closes in the top ten sellers of this week.
