Ps2 - Buzz! Creators "Flattered" By Copycat 360 Controller
The controller to the Xbox 360 quiz game Scene It? looks so much like the big-button peripheral that is included in PS2's own quiz game, Buzz!. Relentless Software, developers of the Buzz! game, have stated that they consider these circumstances as “flattering”.
Due to the success of the multi-million franchise of the quiz series Buzz! on the PS2, looks like Microsoft wanted a share of that huge market and so they created Scene It? Lights, Camera, Action for the Xbox 360 platform.
David Amor of Relentless Software believes that as a result of the game's success, the value of the controller has been recognized. Not only that, he believes that it is equipped with all the right tools that will truly make this game playable.
When Amor was asked for his comment on the issue regarding the Scene It? Controller, he only had this to say: “What's interesting is that when we first talked about Buzz! people didn't understand why we wouldn't just use the PlayStation controller and saw little value in a bespoke peripheral”.
