PS2 - Konami, Take-Two Present MLB Power Pros 2008
If you are fearing that steroids are quickly becoming a fad in Major League Baseball, then maybe Take-Two and Konami's MLB Power Pros series (Powerful Pro Yakyuu in Japan) will take the unnaturally proportioned ones to the center stage.
After the series was introduced in North America last year, two publishers team up to release the latest installment, MLB Power Pros 2008, to various consoles such as the PlayStation 2, Wii, and DS. The game will be sporting 10 different modes, which includes multiple career modes.
It will enable gamers to take on the role of a Double-A minor league player, which aims to balance his professional aspirations with his personal life. You have the option to either create a player and follow his 20-year career on his way to becoming a pro, or you can skip that and take on an existing player.
Both the PS2 and Wii versions of MLB Power Pros will be shipping in on July, while the DS version won't be available until fall.
