PS2 - PlayLogic Given Green Light To Publish Games
Independent game publisher PlayLogic, based in Amsterdam, has been given full publishing rights on the PlayStation 2 and PSP line of systems in the US. This means they can bring their games to market directly, without dealing through third parties.
Executive VP Rogier Smit was very happy with the news, saying "The United States is the largest single country market in the world for the PlayStation family and we are very proud to have joined the select few that meet the criteria to become a publisher for SCEA."
There was no mention if the PlayStation 3 is also covered under this agreement but it should be noted that the company currently has no titles in development for the PS3.
