PS2 - Sierra Announces The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Publisher Sierra Entertainment has just confirmed that owners of the PlayStation 2, Wii, and DS can expect to get their hands on the videogame adaptation of The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor this summer.
Eurocom will be handling the production for the upcoming action/adventure title's PS2 and Wii versions; meanwhile, A2M will be in charge for the DS version of the game.
Based largely on the film of the same name which is scheduled to hit cinemas on the 1st of August, Tomb of the Emperor enables gamers to take on the the role of Richard “Rick” O'Connell and his son, Alex O'Connell. This third-person adventure utilizes shooting and proximity-based combat, in your quest to battle the resurrected Dragon Emperor.
Being one of Universal Pictures' most distinctive and expansive movie franchises, Universal Pictures' Bill Kisper assured fans that this will be inherent in the game.
He further adds, “The new film amps up the action, introduces a ruthless new villain and takes our heroes to incredible new locations. We are thrilled to bring all these attributes to life in this game.”
You can start looking out for The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor on August 8.
