PS2 - Silent Hill: Origins Ported To PS2 Confirmed
For a while, rumors have been circling with regards to Silent Hill Origins coming to the PS2. Konami had been tight-lipped regarding the matter and refused to make any comment. However, word is out that the game is indeed coming to the said console.
It was originally released on the PSP last year, and now PS2 fans are ready to experience it on the PS2 as well.
According to Anthony Crouts, VO of marketing for Konami, “[c]onsole gamers can now expect the same chilling, suspenseful and fear-filled experience that handheld gamers encountered when we released Silent Hill Origins on PSP.”
He further adds that “this is their chance to learn more of the mystery and mythos surrounding Silent Hill that's been hinted at in earlier games and made the series such a success.”
As of this time, no specific release date has been given yet but some online retailers have listed the game for an early March release.
