PS2 - WWE suing THQ/Jakks again!

Two years ago, last week, the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) (formerly World Wrestling Federation (WWF)), launched a lawsuit against THQ, Jakks Pacific and, their joint venture, THQ/Jakks Pacific LLC.
The lawsuit stated that THQ and Jakks had unlawfully gained the license from Acclaim when their deal ended with the WWE.
This lawsuit claimed that they had gained the contract through the use of bribes and similar unlawful practices.
This lawsuit is still going through the courts.

However, it seems that the WWE have just launched a second lawsuit against the stated defendants.
They claim that the companies have improperly sold copies of the games in Japan and other Asian countries.
Both THQ and Jakks deny this lawsuit as well and have stated that the lawsuit is without merit and that they will fight it.

These lawsuits, however, did not prevent the two companies working with the WWE in order to create the next game in the Smackdown! franchise, WWE Smackdown! vs RAW 2007.

The newest Smackdown! game is due for release November 10th on PS2, PSP and XBOX 360.
