PS3 - 80 GB System Priced, Dated For Australia
Recent reports have detailed of a sales posters that give clues to the probability of an Australian release of an 80GB PS3 SKU for 699 AUD. A 40GB PS3 is also supposed to be released as well.
Retailers said that this new SKU will be released on August 28. Sony has failed to release an official confirmation about the price and date though since Sony reps have yet to set a date and price.
Although many would consider this a rumor as of now, the date mentioned does coincide with the SKU's August 27 European release, as well as the release in the US. We're sure Aussie gamers are hoping that it also includes a DualShock 3 controller. We'll update you if more details are revealed!
