PS3 - Activision, Bizarre Creations Announce Blur
Activision is back on the streets as they collaborate with Bizzare Creations with a new racer called Blur. A press release has been issued by Activision detailing a few specific information regarding this new racing title. From what was revealed, this game is more likely to join the ranks of Mario Kart as compared to PGR.
However, Activision will go as far as predicting the game will attain the same level of success as Call of Duty has. Below are more info from the press release:
*"20 cars on a track all targeting the finish line and battling each other as they trade paint"
*"collect intense power-ups"
*" blast other cars out of the way with huge bursts of energy"
*"boost their speed, and more"
*"fast curves, sneaky alternate routes, hair-raising jumps"
As for the game features:
*Competitive or team-based games modes, up to 20 players online
*Four players split-screen
Aside from that, Blur is hoping to incorporate a social gaming experience as it enables you to “create unique multiplayer modes based on their favorite ways to play the game.” Therefore, you can expect the game to be landing on both the PS3 and Xbox 360.
