PS3 - Announcements Coming At Game Developers Conference
In an interview with 1Up Sony Worldwide Studios head Phil Harisson has confirmed there will be some ¨exclusive announcements¨ made by Sony at the upcoming Game Developers Conference next month. He would not divulge any other details other than saying they ¨have some interesting announcements to make¨.
He continued by saying they won´t let what the competitors do sway them from their plans.
¨It´s important to understand from our point of view, we are not focused on one competitor, trying to adjust or change our strategy because of what one competitor is doing in the market,¨ he said. ¨We have our strategy, we´re here to grow the market, we´re here to build out the PlayStation brand and experience on a worldwide basis, building on the success that we have and we´re continuing to do that.¨
At this point it is impossible to say for sure what sort of announcements they will be making. As more information comes in we will let you know.
