PS3 - Another Marvel License Changes Hands
Just after finding out about Sega snagging Iron Man it looks like the Fantastic Four are changing homes too.
The sequel to the original movie comes out next year. According to Marvel executive vice president David Maisel there will be a licensed game to come out alongside it but it won´t be made by the team responsible for the first game won´t be here for the sequel.
During an earnings call today an analyst asked forconfirmation that Take-Two would be handling the game development. Maisel replied, ¨That is a new relationship for that game which will be released with the movie next year. And that game is going on schedule, as well.¨
It´s starting to look like Activision is passing up Marvel licenses it deems to be not quite ¨super¨ enough. They seem to be content with two of the bigger properties, Spider-Man and X-Men.
