PS3 - Australian Game Releases This Week
The first Guitar Hero game named after a band is due out this week. Aerosmith is the chosen group to head this new edition's lineup of songs. There are a total of 25 Aerosmith songs included in this game, as well as 16 other songs from various artists including the likes of the Kinks as well as solo works from Aerosmith's own lead guitarist, Joe Perry. Expect to play the same modes present in previous GH games such as career, co-op, face-off, and pro-face-off mode.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith has been scheduled for release on the Wii, PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 this Wednesday, August 6. You may also choose to purchase this as a stand-alone game or as a bundle which includes a guitar. The game will cost you are A$ 149.95 (US$ 139.63) to A$ 169.95 (or US$ 158.25).
Also, Sony's PlayStation 3 Platinum games are scheduled to come out today. The said batch of games include such hit PlayStation titles as Resistance: Fall of Man, Heavenly Sword, MotorStorm, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction. These games will each retail at A$49.95 (US$46.59).
