PS3 - Battlefield 1943 Storms The PSN Beachhead Next Week

The much awaited FPS multiplayer game from Electronic Arts, Battlefield 1943, has been announced for release on the PlayStation Network starting July 8 for US $15.

DICE handled the redesigning efforts for the game, which resulted in the addition of a couple new modes which you can play in the classic Battlefield tropical WWII maps including Guadalcanal, Iwo Jima, Wake Island, and Coral Sea. The PC version of the same game will arrive much later in September.
