PS3 - Best Buy Preps Alternative For Launch Day
Fanboys of either system may want to shy away here- this report could possibly not sit well for you.
Best Buy reportedly has a plan in place for those that waited in line but do not get a PS3 on the November 17 launch- offer an XBox 360 bundle. The bundle will consist of the Premium system and two games with a third title provided at no cost. This wil be available only from the 17th to the 19th.
Now then- some of the more fanboyish will possibly have a reaction like ¨I don´t want that piece of crap¨ (the Sony fanboy). Meantime, XBox 360 fanatics may not like the idea of their beloved system being offered as a sort of consolation prize.
However, those of us of semi-sane frame of mind will know enough to keep in mind the fact that best Buy is in the business to make money and have no allegiance. These bundles are being offered for those that have to get something for the holidays and don´t want to leave with nothing. Besides, Sony has said their production has ramped up so there will be more available- it won´t be the end of the world to wait a week or two. After all, it´s not like you´re being forced to take the alternative.
