PS3 - Bioshock 2 Release Set For February 9 2010
Fans of the original BioShock were highly anticipating their return to Rapture and they got the pleasant news last May from 2K Games that the game will be shipped by the end of October. But apparently, this one would not push through since it was moved to a fiscal 2010 window. Take-Two has now pointed out a release in between February and July.
Recently, 2K Games has finally confirmed a specific release date for the Dystopsian shooter, which is on February 9 for the PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Different houses are taking care of each aspect of development in BioShock 2. For instance, 2K Marin is handling the single-player campaign, while Digital Extremes will take care of the multiplayer component. Additional support is provided by 2K Australia, 2K China, and Arkane Studios.
BioShock 2 has not been rated yet but if you were to base it on the predecessor, then it might also be getting an M rating from the ESRB.
