PS3 - BioShock Coming to PlayStation 3

With promising game titles such as Bioshock, Manhunt 2, and Grand Theft Auto IV, companies and investors have faith that Take-Two Interactive will be able to deliver the success they are aiming for. As for Bioshock which was released recently, Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey thinks it will go a long way.

Take-Two's “management turnaround plan” should help boost share value, assessed by Hickey in his research note. He believes that we also have more to expect from the title Manhunt 2. Meanwhile, he thinks that it would be wise to bring the success of Bioshock to the PS3, PS2, Wii, and handhelds in time for the company's 2009 fiscal year.

Hickey foresees the same level of success with Mafia 2 for Take-Two and he also sees the need to take it to the PS3, 360 and PC if they want to bring in more sales. Mike Hickeys states: “Additional capital could be used to insure liquidity for working capital needs, fuel potential studio acquisitions, and fund future development projects.”

All these factors lead to large returns of investment for Take-Two Interactive, and yet people are more excited to see whether or not Bioshock will be able to duplicate its success in the Xbox 360 with some other platforms.
