PS3 - Burnout: Paradise Coming To PSN As Downloadable
Those of you who did not pick up Burnout: Paradise when it first came out are going to be rewarded for your patience. Criterion Entertainment has revealed via the PlayStation blog the full game will be made available in the coming weeks as a downloadable game in the PlayStation Store!
This will not be just as it was on the Blu-Ray when released either- this download will be including all of the extra free packs that were added so far. Some of the highlights include all new game modes like Online Marked Man and Online Road Rage, new vehicles including the Hunter Olympus and Nakamura Rai-jin Turbo, 70 all-new challenges featuring against-the-clock gameplay and leaderboards plus the in-game calendar and news page.
"Hold on there," you say. "How much is this going to cost me?" A lot less than the blu-ray did, actually- the game will be priced at USD$29.99!
This will also support the upcoming packs such as the upcoming motorcycles in September- the two bikes available from Day 1 will be the FV1100 street bike and the Nakamura Firehawk V4 racing bike. This will also mark a first for the game as we will see actual drivers on the bikes. You'll have a choice of male or female driver, which you will choose in the junkyard.
Criterion promises more downloadables to come in the future as they pledge to continue to support the title. If you have been considering picking this one up, the choice will soon be yours as to how to do it!
