PS3 - Capcom Apologizes For Monster Hunter 3 Platform Switch
With Monster Hunter 3's recent switch to the Nintendo Wii, although the game was initially intended for release on Sony's PS3, representatives from Capcom sent out their apologies to the fans who bought Sony's PS3 in anticipation of Monster Hunter 3's release on the said console.
The switch was done due to the PS3's high production cost, which led the folks at Capcom to switch it to the Wii instead. However, all is not lost. Capcom's publicist has told Famitsu that they have a multiplatform strategy for the Monster Hunter franchise.
And about Monster Hunter getting to the PS3, Capcom did not make any confirmation. Although they have expressed that the PSP is very important for the franchise.
