PS3 - Character List Confirmed For Assassin's Creed 2

Assassin’s Creed 2 is one of the biggest titles for the PS3, which is set during Renaissance Italy. This will introduce you to a story of conspiracy and vengeance, as headlined by its main character, Ezio. But he won't be alone during this adventure. As he makes his way to becoming a master assassin, Ezio will be meeting a few characters along the way, which will help spice up both story and gameplay.

Here are some of the characters that have been confirmed for the game:

CONFIRMED

1. Carno Grimaldi (one of Italy’s most notorious evil men)
2. Caterina Sforza (famous for boldly uphold the military defense of her states)
3. Desmond Miles (is he still stuck in the Animus room?)
4. Giovanni Auditore di Firenze (Ezio’s father, a banker)
5. Ezio Auditore di Firenze (a nobleman-turned-assassin, the main character you play as)
6. Leonardo da Vinci (inventor of technically advanced tools for Ezio)
7. Lorenzo de’ Medici (Florentine Republic ruler maintaining peace during the Italian Renaissance)
8. Lucy Stillman (will Dr. Warren Vidic’s research assistant return to the Animus room?)
9. Niccolò Machiavelli (considered a founder of modern political science)

Meanwhile, here are some character reported to be making an appearance, although they are still awaiting official confirmation:

UNCONFIRMED

1. Altaïr (does Ezio know of his ancestry through a codex?)
2. Warren Vidic (Abstergo Industries scientist still doing research with the Animus?)
