PS3 - Dead Rising 2 Not Showing At E3
Keiji Inafune, Executive Producer for Dead Rising 2, has officially announced its decision to cancel the game's appearance in the upcoming E3 event. In an interview with Kotaku, Capcom's Chris Kramer is detailing about the reason behind the said cancellation. Apparently, it was due to the restrictions set by the Japanese government surrounding concern of the swine flu outbreak in Osaka. It happened that Capcom 's main headquarters is located around Osaka.
Although Canada-based Blue Castle are working on the development for Dead Rising 2, it was Inafune who supervised the project. Kramer is quick to remind fans that Dead Rising 2 will be the only game who will obtain a cancelled appearance on E3.
He details, “ Dead Rising 2 is the only game we won't be able to showcase at E3, because it's at an early stage of development and the team is not comfortable having anyone else demo the code.”
