PS3 - DJ Qbert In DJ Hero 2?
After a successful stint for Guitar Hero in the market, Activision has surely hit the right spot in the sales department knowing the demand for rhythm or music games. Therefore, they have scheduled another date in the gaming market with the projected release of DJ Hero, a turntable-peripheral based title courtesy of UK's FreeStyle Games, on October 27. This game is also set to feature prominent DJ acs such as Daft Punk, DJ Shadow, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Cut Chemist, J.Period, Grandmaster Flash, and the late DJ AM.
But even before the said game hits the market, a sequel is supposedly already in talks. According to reports at GI.biz, DJ Qbert has “been approached” for DJ Hero 2, who is the founding member of the San Francisco Bay Area group, the Invisibl Skratch Piklz. He also won the DMC World DJ Championship three times in the past.
When a representative from Activision was contacted for a comment on this report, all that was said was that “Activision does not comment on rumors or speculation.”
Therefore, it's still a wait-and-see matter before we can officially confirmed DJ Qbert for the sequel to DJ Hero. Stay tuned!
