PS3 - EA Announces Fight Night Round 4, Mike Tyson Included In Lineup
When news broke out that EA Sports have decided to close down its Chicago studios, fans of the Fight Night boxing series feared that this might also signal the closing of their much-loved series. The good news, however, is that EA Sports Vancouver has taken over the duties and is gearing up Fight Night Round 4 for its upcoming release.
Although still under development process, Sony PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 owners can expect to be treated to the fourth installment of the acclaimed series. However, the 2009 release is still a long ways off and we're pretty sure fans are excited to try out the new moves for this new installment.
EA Vancouver has made sure that for this latest iteration fans will experience a deeper level of realism as incorporated in the differing style and techniques that each boxers has in their arsenal. Since they are using an engine with true-to-physics visuals, you can definitely expect better gameplay and graphics.
To top it all off, your choices of boxing champs in Fight Night Round 4 are sweeter than ever. You can choose from among a comprehensive lineup of some of the sports' greats, which includes power puncher Mike Tyson. Since Tyson has not made an appearance in the video game scene for over a decade now, it does give fans something more to look forward to.
