PS3 - EA Delays Battlefield Heroes, Tiberium

Electronic Arts has just delivered a disappointing news to fans of Battlefield Heroes and Tiberium (PS3, Xbox 360, PC). In a conference call, these two games have been confirmed to be delayed.

Battlefield Heroes is a free-to-play, ad-supported shooter that was originally scheduled for a summer release. However, EA's John Riccitiello have stated that it won't be released until the end of this year.

Riccitiello said, “We decided to increase its focus on some of the social networking features.” Then, he also added that this concept led them to incorporate the beta tester feedback and infuse some other new features into the game.

Tiberium was also announced to be delayed during the same conference call. This game is set in the Command and Conquer game universe, and was scheduled for release by the end of 2008. instead, the FPS is now moved to be released in the fiscal year 2010. This one looks pretty much quite a long delay.
