PS3 - EA Gives Godfather II Details
Electronic Arts was already discussing the possibility of a sequel for Godfather, even before its original game was released back in 2006. Just recently, specifically in June, Godfather II was confirmed by EA CEO John Riccitiello.
Hence, EA has been gradually dropping hints about a few details regarding the game, such as its release window and platforms.
The Godfather series is “inspired by the film and Mario Puzo's Corleone family drama.” As it is based on the film, expect to see the classic mob saga take on locations such as New York, Florida, and Cuba.
In this game, players will get to explore several environments as they play the Don of New York. As you immerse in this character, you have to handle aspects of the mob that entail strategic organizational skills. What's even more exciting for fans is that EA promises to bring “even more visceral hand-to-hand brutality”. Therefore, you can make full use of the new combo mechanics, more pressure tactics and executions incorporated in the game.
