PS3 - EA Making A Skateboarding Game
According to PSM Magazine Electronic Arts has its first skateboarding game in the works. What makes this different from the other Tony Hawk wanna-be games out there? EA has created a unique control scheme using both analog sticks. The game will be controlled by physics- how well the tricks work will depend on angles, speed and level of control.
Several stylistic elements will be added in to enhance the mood such as a ¨skate video- type¨ camera, the ability to record your moves (handy for showing off that trick you nailed) and view them from various angles, character customization (which is usually filled with options going by other EA sports games) and the appearance of 14 actual skating pros.
Not much else is known right now other than it will be released sometime in 2007. No word if this is coming to other systems.
