PS3 - EA Reveals New FIFA 2009 Online Mode, Demo News

Electronic Arts has just revealed a new online mode for the FIFA Soccer 09's PS3 and Xbox 360 versions. The said mode will be called FIFA 09 Clubs, and enables players to form groups or clubs of 50 people maximum. Then, they can compete in the new Be A Pro: 10 versus 10 Online Team Play feature.

This works basically like a divisional season tournament wherein each club is ranked according to performance. Therefore, team play is of utmost importance on this one if you want to proceed to the major leagues. Meanwhile, managers can also scout players from rival team and if they spotted someone they like, they can recruit to their club. Meanwhile, if a player is also performing below the team's standards, then the manager can kick them out of the team.

Aside from this pleasant news, EA also announced a playable demo for FIFA Soccer 09 which you can already avail of today, September 11 via the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Marketplace. The full game ships in on October 14.
