PS3 - Echochrome Hitting PSN This Summer, PSP Version "Up In The Air"
We have just found out the Escher- inspired puzzle game Echochrome will be coming to the PlayStation Network sometime this summer. Japan gets the game several months sooner, however- they get both the PS3 and PSP version in March.
For some reason no word was given for a stateside release for the PSP version, which is odd considering the March date for Japan is for both versions. One site is claiming a Sony rep told them the PSP version is still "up in the air". Doesn't sound quite right to me, though, considering the Japan launch.
For those wondering about the differences between the two, the PSP version comes with 100 levels while the PS3 version has 50. However, the PS3 version also has a level editor, letting gamers make their own puzzles and share them with other Echochrome owners.
As soon as we find out more firm details about the launch we will bring them to you. In the meantime, here is a small clip from the tutorial to get you a bit more ready for what's ahead.
