PS3 - Echochrome Priced, Dated In Japan
I'm sure many of you remember the surprise star of the last Electronic Entertainment Expo, Echochrome. For those that don't, here is a video:
Simple, yet complex- the way perfect puzzle games should be. Well, the game is slowly getting closer to us after almost a year. Echochrome has received an official date in Japan for both the PS3 (via the PlayStation Store) and the PSP (on UMD disc). The game will be available in Japan on March 19 on both platforms.
Gamers with both systems will have a choice to make- take the game with them or save a few yen and have it on the console. The PS3 version of the game will cost ¥1800 (about $17 US) while the PSP version is higher priced, at ¥3980 (about $37).
Chances are that price point will not be the same here in North America once the game comes over- several other PSP games have been cheaper than the straight yen-US Dollar conversion. At least, we sure hope that will be the case.
