PS3 - Expanded Online Mode, More Characters For Super Street Fighter IV
Yoshinori Ono, producer for Street Fighter IV, has revealed his plans for the upcoming game for both PS3 and Xbox 360, Super Street Fighter IV. In a recent interview, he revealed that they have expanded focus on online play.
One reveals that the development staff are looking for ways to revive the excitement of the arcade tourneys, even though you are playing this game alone at home. He believes it is possible with the addition of live online match viewing. He also shows interest on tweaking the replay viewer even more.
Also, Juri won't be the sole new character in Super Street Fighter IV as Ono has promised newcomers in addition to the returning characters to make up the full character roster. And the best part about these new characters is that they will be introducing some “surprising fighting styles” into the combat experience.”
As for the DLC, Ono has promised that gamers won't have to re-buy the costumes that were featured on Street Fighter IV for the Super edition. But they do promise that more costumes are on the way for the game.
