PS3 - Experts Predict $400 Playstation 3 Before Xmas
Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter has stated that he expects Sony to release a 40GB PS3 in time for the holidays (or early next year) with a US $399 price tag. This is despite a previous statement given by the company saying that this is nothing but speculation.
The analyst further adds that consumers are to expect a price cut for the 80GB PS3 just before the holidays. He said, “We expect the price of the 80GB PS3 to be reduced to $499 before the holidays”
Michael Pachter has also made predictions for LittleBigPlanet, claiming that it will become a major console seller in Japan.
